CORT CJ-RETRO-VBM jumbo body with Fishman electronics

The CORT CJ-RETRO-VBM is a jumbo body acoustic‐electric that masterfully blends classic craftsmanship with modern technology. Constructed with a solid spruce top and mahogany back and sides, this instrument delivers a robust and warm sound ideal for both stage and studio. The dovetail neck joint reinforces stability while the advanced X-bracing supports its powerful projection. The scale length measures 25.5″ (648mm), offering optimal playability and sustain. Designed with precision, the neck is made of mahogany with a C-shaped profile and a triangle heel shape to ensure smooth access to all 20 frets. Other notable specifications include: a nut width of 1 11/16″ (43mm), neck thickness of approximately 0.83″ at the 1st fret and 0.88″ at the 7th fret, and a fingerboard of laurel with a radius of 15.75″ (R400). The hardware is completed by an aged white binding, ABS rosette, laurel bridge, aged white bridge pins with black dots, and Graphtech Nubone for the nut and saddle. The instrument is fitted with Fishman electronics – a VTB EQ system paired with a Neo-D Humbucker pickup – and features open gear nickel tuning machines, ensuring that every note resonates with clarity.
